About my work
My work aims toward the story. The narrative. As an artist I aim to create an idea of a narrative reality that the audience can convince themselves of. This speaks to the duality of storytelling - a converstation between truth and lies. As the foundation of storytelling lives on this border I feel my work continues working on the thin lines between ideas and feelings. The line between horror and playfulness, terror and humour, exploring the boundary between meaning and meaninglessness and seeing the beauty and complexity of both simultaneously.
